About Richard van Gaalen

Richard is passionate about working with clients to achieve better sales results and improve returns on their investment. He loves helping people achieve their goals and dreams and giving them the encouragement to do better and be better people. He has a desire to help with what suits best for their business whether through traditional or online media.

Richard has had over 25 years of Management and Sales experience. Working in Sales, Hospitality and also Retail Sectors managing a staff of 120. He frequently attends seminars to help him learn more and give better assistance to his clients.

Included in this is over 20 years of media experience in both the offline and online world. He worked for Yellow Pages Group for four years looking after Key Accounts and the Advertising Agencies. For two of those years he was the top sales person, which shows his capacity in this area.

All of this has given him fantastic grounding in media as a firm foundation before going into business with Laurelle. He brings knowledge of how advertising works, or at least should work. He has placed tens of thousands of adverts in various mediums for his clients over the years. He is looking to help as many people as he can make their business Goals a reality with good systems and processes, and sound knowledge removing some of that gut feel.

Richard is always willing to assist his clients with great advice, providing an outside point of view towards the selling of their products or services. He is utilised to be responsible to handle overall marketing and branding strategies, and also sales promotions for his clients and does this with ease.

Richard has built his business on good old fashioned principles…. Honesty, Integrity and good old hard work…. treat people with respect…. listen to their needs…. suggest a solution to the challenges that they face…. provide amazing service…. and results will come!

Richard and his family love both the Land and the beach and spend many weekends and holidays in close proximity to the beach or up at the boys Farm in the fresh air. He is happily married to Laurelle and between them they have 5 awesome children, they have recently become empty nesters. He is a dedicated Christian and a family man. Home is always busy as there are also eight grandchildren that love to come and stay, and they also have a very large close knit extended family.

Richard along with Laurelle Currently Pastor a new local Christian church and have been Pastors for approximately 12 years, so he is used to relating to all kinds of people and helping them work through issues or challenges in their life and celebrating success. Richard is an effective communicator who loves to encourage and build up and help people discover all they can be. Richard and Laurelle are passionate about life and making the best of any situation. Richard enjoys a good laugh and is a firm believer that you can have a life filled with joy if you choose to. Even when things are tough you can still enjoy life and the people you share it with.
